Hi

So I brought some RC5+ Brake Pads, great at what they do, but they are slowly driving me crazy with the clonking noise they make in the brake callipers, does anyone here have any solutions in stoping the pads rattle about in the brake callipers.

Anti-rattle shims, available for most callipers.

Yep as above I had to do the same with my ds2500's - they also rattled over bumps

The anti-rattle shims where probably on the back of your original pads if you still have the original pads prise them off and reuse.

If not either get the correct shims for your car/calliper or get some universal shims these will either be a thin steel plate (commonly found on ebay) or rubber pads typically made by Minex or EBC.

As an alternative, some silicone sealant on the back of the pads can stop the rattling
