I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I'm trying to sort out next years trip, but the last few times we've gone, even though the calendar has said its open, things have gotton moved about on us and track time has been limited.

Is there a few weekends over years gone by that historically have always been open for a fri/sat/sun ?

Easter weekend and usually a weekend in August, but it is mental on those weekends, it is so popular, so busy that normally a lot of track closure time due to over enthusiastic driving and crashes.

Dale from Bridge to Gantry is normally pretty hot on getting TF dates out to the world.

Alternatively you could g on one of the DN weekends, clsoed trackday including the GP circuit, I have been a few times now, had a great time every time.

Cheers guys, Its so hard to plan a trip this far in advance, some of the guys need to book there holidays way in advance, the best compromise for us all is going to be Thursday July 15th to Tuesday 19th.

Any known races booked for then ? Cant find any online ring opening plans for 2016 yet

Easter in in march so I'm ruling that out, and some of the guys cant do August.

I was there this year on Good Friday, aka 'Car Friday' locally. It was completely gridlocked between Adenau and the TF car park for most of the day. We walked the circuit from Adenau up to the castle stopping to watch, whenever the track wasn't closed. The weather was glorious, but opportunities to drive were limited. Fortunately I'd been at DN11 earlier in the week so didn't miss out.
