We are going, but unfortunately on the Monday of the same week.
Also in an E36, similarly setup with brake cooling front and rear, but currently using 205 profile budget tyres offering very little in the way of grip. Makes for a fun and busy time around a lap.
I hope it's dry for us and for you guys.
P.S. if you haven't been there since last year, the new chicane will take some time getting used to, not as fast as the old layout, but adds a different challenge to the overall lap round Bedford.

I quite enjoyed that today, the damp(and later wet) suited my road tyres and a few subtle changes to my 130i made it feel noticeably pointier and neutral.
Saw a few of you guys out on the track, I behind following arginite getting quite sideways (presume intentionally!) toward the end of the day, and saw the chap with the 330i doing much the same in my rear mirror at the end. The blue and white Exige looked quite special with that paintjob.

I was there with my old man in my Silver Renault Clio 182 (white wheels).
I was on semi slicks all day even in the rain, but it still handled very well.
Good day all in all.
If anyone has captured my car in any of their footage then post up the link please
I had my go pro on all day, so I'm sure I've probably got a lot of you guys in my footage. Will be sorting through it as soon as.
Cheers

V800MJH - I think it was you I was having a load fun with in the afternoon. I was in the carbon black e46 M3 with the CSL bootlid. Such a fun day!
Haha yeah I think it was mate. You seemed to be going very well in the wet to be honest. Normally the RWD cars struggle a lot more but I was having to work to stay with you.
...Well I was trying really hard! Had to delicately trail brake it right up to every apex, even the fast sweepers, to try and load the front axle & get the nose to tuck. Then then delicately pick up throttle with very slight O/S on exit to try and get the drive out. I had to give up at 3pm and come off as the standing water was too much for my OE 3mm ish tread depth conti`s sport tyres. Worst bit I found was the after the fast chicane, after the main straight - it was getting super dangerous!
Have you got any footage with me in it at all?

Yeah that straight down after the fast chicane was very bad. Especially when you go out wide to use the whole track. I was aqua planing a LOT down there. Still good fun though.
I'm pretty sure I'll have something of you, I was following you for a fair bit from memory?
Whether or not it'll be clear enough to see your car through all the spray and dullness who knows haha.
I'll post it up on here when I've had a chance to work through it.

Hey. I was there in a dirty white 911. Loads of fun in the morning as the track dried out, and much slower fun in the afternoon - the joy of trying to eek another trackday out of some worn fronts :-)
I only recorded a small amount of footage - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf23XU7TbNw
