Minimum age for PAX
Discussion
MSV allow passengers to be 14 on their MSV run trackdays at all their venues except Bedford Autodrome.
Other track day organisers have 16 as the minimum age. Not sure why, maybe insurance???
Seems a little strange, Kids can race cars at 14, do junior rallies at 14, admittedly with more compulsory safety equipment.
No minimum age as far as I could tell the Nurburgring on Tourist days.
Mum and dad up front, two kids in the back with Lids on in a skoda Yeti sticks in the memory
My lad has just turned 14 and he is coming for a trip round Cadwell in the not to distant future.

It's a half day, a morning before a rally the following day(next Sunday). The organisers are NHMC, but I think they are just doing the admin and their T&Cs are as per MSV.
Their is a junior rally (14 - 17 year olds can drive) on the Sunday, NHMC said no 14 year olds driving on the track morning, but they can passenger as Per MSV T&Cs
http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/terms-and-conditio...
Passengers
Only one passenger may be carried in the vehicle at any one time. All fitted safety devices must be able to perform within their manufacturers guidelines i.e. weight and height of passenger must not interfere or prevent such safe operation within the manufacturers design parameters. Passengers under the age of 18 must have the appropriate section of the Registration Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. In any case the minimum age for passengers is 14 yrs except at Bedford Autodrome where the minimum age for passengers is 16 yrs.

The reasons all around will be insurance.
Bedford is a faster track than any of the other MSV tracks......having said which I feel it is probably the safest.
I was overtaken by a 16 year old driver at a track day earler this year.
Admittedly she was in a GT4 Aston Martin, and won the British Championship.
