Silverstone 13th December

Silverstone GP this Sunday, anyone going from PH ? My new Radical SR3 srx is being delivered there for the track day / shakedown, roll on Sunday....

Hope you had fun. I stayed there on Saturday night, listened to the torrential downpour all night long, then went home again in the morning. Wouldn't have been fair on any of you to see me trying to learn how to drive in the wet.

That's a shame, there were a few spinners as it was very wet so you wouldn't have been alone. 3-4 red flags throughout the day but no serious damage to cars. Ginetta were there testing an LMP2 which was bloody quick and some nice cars in attendance. All in all, a good day albeit a bit chilly.

I did this in my C63AMG, glad it was wet as it was a proper hoot. Sideways everywhere, I never thought a big heavy AMG would be such a fun track car. My passengers and I spent the whole day laughing.
