I've never done a trackday at Silverstone before but was looking at one on the Stowe circuit with my Integra Type-R. On the circuit map it looks like a kart track in the middle of the GP circuit (which I appreciate would be to quick for the Teg). However, is it a worthwhile track to do or a bit Micky Mouse?

FWIW it's not a million miles away and the price is right!

Good fun little track in a car that handles OK. It's not exactly Cadwell Park but it is about as long as Brands Indy.................

Thanks, the Integra turns in well, is nicely adjustable on the throttle, short geared and revs hard. Sound like fun then biggrin

There is a deal on this day with PC magazine www.classiccardriving.co.uk at £149 for the day and a day driving supercars at Prestwold Hall FOC.

It's a good circuit, and fun, and if all you want to do is have somewhere to drive your car fast then it's great.

I seem to remember some of it's concrete though - so it may well wear your tyres out quicker.

If, however, you want to do the GP circuit I highly recommend it - and your Integra will have no problems (in fact there was one on the last day I did there).

The Stowe cct has been extended this year. I've not driven the new version but the old circuit was easy to learn & not too demanding with nothing much to hit. I used to enjoy it. A good cct for novices, those wanting to find the limit or those wanting to protect the p & j from the scenary I would suggest.

Hi, i dont want to get involved in advertising, but we have had a ton of questions about this day from people who have seen posts on this forum. So, no links on this post, but some quick answers.

The day is open to drivers of all cars, not just classics.

The price is for all day on the circuit and a full day driving supercars at Prestwold Hall.

It's so much improved down there. Nice garages/pits and a pretty decent circuit too.

Was there end feb in my turbo, thoroughly enjoyed it as there's some quite technical bits and only 1 decent straight. Was a damp day and was quite gentle on my Pilot Sport road tyres. Should suit a teg really well.

It's a nice little circuit, good for a beginner as it's easy to learn. However, you may get bored after a while.

I would agree with that. I enjoyed it but after 60 miles I simply got bored and I decided to go home.

Does anyone still run trackdays on the Silverstone Stowe circuit?
I always found it good fun to drive!
