Intercom - Stilo, Zeronoise, etc
Discussion
TLDR: What should i buy?
I'm really not familiar (only ever had recieve only on my , and have never owned a setup before - but i'm now confident this is necessary to really benefit from any tuition - especially in louder cars (all of my cars..). I think most instructors tend to have some compatability with common intercoms, i've no idea if the average instructors mic/headphones can jack in to any amp manufacturer? I'd also like to take passengers and have two-way intercom with them.
I have a Bell helmet, and quite like the fit, but might buy another (lighter one) if it's at all beneficial for intercom - and demote my current for passenger use, (and/or respray it garish colours for fun!)
Stilo intercoms eems quite common, and presumably works well with Stilo helmets. Also seen some ZeroNoise setups in open top cars suggesting perhaps they're good for sound quality. Not too fussed on price, and would likely consider moulded in-ears for myself and some generic in-helmet pads for passenger helmet.
Any strong opinions or experience of either, and know what components i need to buy? Someone had suggested Nicky Grist Motorsports as a good vendor who could spec me something, but i dont like going in blind to a purchase.
