Got back from a trip at the start of November (Did a track day with Open track) and i'm already wanting to get back out there again. I have one trip already booked in for late May but that doesn't coincide with a track day i'm aware of. Just going to enjoy the area and maybe do a few TF laps.

Me !!

Like many people, I'm waiting for the dates for the DN events next year and will be on all of them.

Not many changes planned for the R8, it's almost finished. Obviously, it'll never be fully 'finished', but it's close biggrin

No, go away, it's lovely and peaceful here.

Ask me again in a month or so when we're bored to death of the peace and quiet though. biggrin

Me! I’m really looking forward to my biannual pilgrimage for a long weekends TF. I’m just waiting for the calendar to be released but have accommodation booked for the long weekend 7th to 10th May.

Dale has just put the Circuit Days dates (but not prices) on BridgetoGantry so hopefully we’re getting close to an update on the full TF calendar.

Yup booked the May DN date today, looking forward to my return visit with my lad who is old enough to drive now? I’ll let him take it around on sighting lap I think!

Not that much more than last year… driving and the autumn date aligns with the bank holiday week. clap

So what everyone’s thoughts sold out by Xmas? Booking seems to get earlier every year.

Booked July DN last week looks like all DN dates booked out already now ! There’s a nice CD double in October with the Ring on a Monday and Spa on the Tuesday , will probably do that as well. Only thing left to sort is a day at Spa in May or June…looking forward to it!

How did you book DN last week - I thought they only got released in the last day or two? I really want to do their double on 3+4 Sept but it's sold out frown

I would be tempted to do that October one myself, but not sure if I would take the gamble with weather..

You have to be in their distro list to get the early look…problem is given the popularity all dates get booked out v quickly. I think Circuit days still have some availability, I’ve done Spa in October the last few yrs and have been lucky with the weather.

Touristenfahrten dates for 2026 have just been released.

I’ve decided to change the dates I’m going to Saturday 11th April to Tuesday 14th to take advantage of the TF session on the GP track on the Monday evening. Not sure if prices have been announced yet for JK and laps?

I thought I would post in here as it seems appropriate for my question.

Mrs M has advised me that she wants to buy me a Nürburgring 'experience' for next year's birthday. I've no idea where to start though. Maybe a few laps as a passenger in the ring taxi? Do I get to drive it myself too? I've done a few lap days at Goodwood but I've never been anywhere near the Nürburgring apart from the xbox lol

I'm not sure what the budget is but I would be happy to add to it. Anyone got any suggestions please?

I would also like to drive my F95 (X5M for non BMW beards!) on the Autobahn to the ring just to stretch its legs but I don't think it would be a good idea to take it on the ring.

Any Ring taxi will be a cracking experience, you should steer her in that direction! You can't drive any of the taxis, but there are a dozen or so local dedicated companies that will rent you a high-quality track car. Just be aware of the high excess.

You can take it around the Ring, to be honest in the dry and be reasonably sensible the chance of getting it wrong is slim. If concerned book a rental, no need for anything too fancy as the locals will be driving around you anyways so get the cheapest thing you can.

It really is something special to drive a lap or two as a
Petrolhead.
