Recording sick leave- what is this method called?

It's a calculation when recording sick leave by recording the number of occurances sick haapens during the year by the number of days the sickness lasts.

I have searched in vain but cannot find the name so I can have a look at exactly how it works.

It is something like the Branston Method. Can anyone help?
