redundancy after internal transfer of job
Discussion
Sorry to add to the string of threads regarding redundancy.
In July this year, the company made my old role redundant and gave me the option of doing my same job with a different title, bigger target, more reponsibility, working in the office not from home and for the same pay.
It now looks as though we may be going through "restructuring" again in January.
I was on a 3 month trial so that should have ended with an interview to say yay, nay, or extend period at the end of October. HR have stated that the completion of the 3 month period does not automatically mean full acceptance by either me or the company.
I've not had this meeting even though I've arranged it, and then not been able to get my manager to actually hold the meeting.
If I dont have this meeting before I get made redundant, or if they extend the period and I then get made redundant within this period will I still get my 3 month notice period (and pay) and statutory redundancy?
I appreciate any help that you guys can give on this.
