Quick calculation is 30/5 x4 = 24 days

Basic leave entitlement would be 4 days x 5.6 (Statutory weeks holiday per year) + 4/5 of the extra 2 days holiday you allow. (22.4 + 1.6 = 24)

If they take a bank holiday off, it comes off their entitlement.

Where I used to work it was done on part time hours for the week. So if a worker did 6 hours a week then s/he would get 33.5 hours holiday to use throughout the year. Someone on 25 hours a week would get 140 hours to use. They got the government minimum which IIRC is 4.6 weeks a year to include all bank holidays.
