Jobsite - How to fill in the forms?
Discussion
I'm registering myself on Jobsite.co.uk, and it's asking me to enter which jobs I'd be interested in. It asks for Job title, Skills, Location. Now, am I supposed to enter a list in the Job Title part, or just one job? It seems odd that they should ask for a job title, for example, if I enter 'customer service assistant', they may have it as 'sale consultant', will that mean I miss out on being alerted of that job being available, even thought they're the same thing?
I have been using Jobserve for 13 years. I suspect it works in a similiar way (having never looked at Jobsite).
I am used to entering the 4 or 5 different job titles that I want to search for. I wouldnt expect the site to be clever enough to have the logic to work the associations out for me. In fact I would rather it didnt and it kept things simple. So I say this sounds like a good thing.

If I recall correctly, it's basically used for when recruiters search the jobsite database for CVs. They can search on job title & keywords within the CV (amongst other things). It's not worth getting worked up about, just put a fairly general 'catchall' type job description in and you'll be fine. (EG, if you're an engineer that repairs gas turbines, just putting Mechanical Engineer would suffice).
