Anyone work as an EHO at a local authority or have a similar role within the private sector?

Thinking of retraining and EHO roles look interesting to me.

Its not that easy to get into from what I have seen.

At uni some Environmental Health students came onto my course to do some modules. They were doing the degree and the starting salary was going to be £12500 at various local authorities.
