Anyone work in risk management?

Just researching this at the moment as my skills may be relevant and I'm looking for a new industry. It seems a diverse and varied field - does anyone work in this industry, what do you do, ways of getting in and all that usual job jazz would be welcomed. Thank you.

First off do you mean risk management in banking, risk management in construction/engineering, risk management in business services/IT?
