Is this as dodgy as it looks? My CV is on Jobsite, and AML trade seem to be a multinational consulting firm (http://www.amltrade.com/) but the e-mail is from a dodgy looking Yahoo address, it's written in pretty poor English, and when they've picked up my CV from a website why ask me to send one (only updated on the site last week so they'd know it was current)? And what's all the text code at the bottom about?

Only got breaded haddock, it's quite hard and the frozen breadcrumbs seem to have left a bit of a mark.

Thing is if it's dodgy I don't get what the sender gets out of it, can't be hitting enough people to be a denial of service thing on the bloke named in the e-mail

Probably ask for your bank details and/or other details next to get you set up with the interview and double check you can have the job. This will be where the scam begins.

I had the same e-mail,

I responded requesting some more infomation and had this response:

"Dear James,

We have received your answer and appreciate your interest in employment with us. We offer vacancy "Customer manager".

You can find additional information about your salary, work schedule and duties in the attached file.

TWO EASY STEPS TO START:

1. Please see the "Job Description" file for more details about the position. If you have any questions – ask me.

2. Fill out "Application Form" electronically and send it back to me.

Note:
Please visit our website for additional information about company and services.

I will do my best to help you in any way I can.

Tony Robertson"

There is also a job spec and application form attached - the application form asks for name address contact phone number and references.

I have replied asking another question so I will post any response I get!

Anytbody else know anything about them?

Hi Guys,
I received the same email last week, and straight away I suspected the authenticity of the source & the content, for the above mentioned reasons as well
as the fact that the job seems to be too easy to do for the salary of $2500 p/m.

So I did what I do best in these cases, to have fun with this "Tony Robertson",
I replied back to the original email with my updated CV (which is also posted on jobsite.co.uk), I received the second email mentioned by James above, with the two attached documents, filled in the application form & returned it, not putting my real address or real references ofcourse.
This morning I received the following reply from Mr "Robertson":

Now thats when it starts to get dodgy, I am not so keen in sending a copy of my driving license or passport, but I will need to get around it somehow, so I might doctor an image of my D/L to show the wrong address and driver's number.
and see where will this get me to.
The funny thing is that in his last email I received today, there are contact numbers for AML Trade in Liverpool, so I will give them a call tomorrow & check.
Will keep you posted guys. Any suggestions are welcome.
