Friend is about to be made redundant.
She manages a team of 30 people (whole team are going) managing a quit smoking campaign for the NHS.
Anyone know (or can suggest) some alternatives or options?

There's a cruel irony in that job. If you do it well enough then you render your job role redundant!

It's hard to say without knowing the function of her team. Were they on the frontline helping people quit? Part of the marketing campaign on TV etc?

Sadly, I don't know precisely.
I think she was running a campaign for a local council and the NHS.
Focus on quit smoking.

I assume it's something like this. This is the smoking cessation team for my health board. http://www.nhsayrshireandarran.com/view_item.aspx?...

If she managed the team i'll assume she is Band 7. That's the equivalent of a team leader or deputy ward manager/sister.
Depends what background she came from prior to this as to what she should be looking at now.
Might be worth looking for generic addiction posts. Same school of thought for health board addiction services as the smoking cessation services in my local area. But as I said, without knowing her background before starting in that job it's hard to advise.
