Longest shift you have needed to work?

Having just finished a rather excessive 24.5 hours at work continually, what is the longest time anyone has ever needed/had to spend at work?
( Not including being on call etc - a normal shift would be, say 9-5 with breaks. I arrived at work at 7:30 Sunday night, and left at 8:10 Monday night, having been performing my duties for the duration. Hadn't intended it to be that long, but needs must!

70 hours straight - launched new website for large toy shop (yes, the one with a backwards character), just before xmas, as they were taking in 1.2 million a day through the site, had to fix loads of problems to keep the site live!
Why were they not picked up in testing? Poor effort 
I reckon I've worked 7:31 hours once, but it was hard. I'm usually a 7:28 hours kinda guy.
Really though, probably 5+ hours after a normal shift.
In my early 20's I used to do directional drilling. Finished a job in Aberfeldy Scotland, left at 10am and drove to Essex to start another job that day which involved setting up ready for the train lines to close at 10pm so we could work throughout the night until the lines opened at 8am. We then packed up and drove back to base near Shropshire. So in short we started 10am Sunday and finished 4pm Monday straight through in the pissing rain.

Easy 80+ hours, started 06:30 friday morning, finished sometime tuesday morning around 03:00. However i was able to get two 4 hour naps in during that time.
And all of it was spent in a Jeep Grand Cherokee (except for the 1 hour each day where it was on a food/ciggie/petrol run.
As for what, Sitting outside a rich persons house to ensure no one else was sitting there and that the rich persons guest stayed in the house and had no visitors. Why i did it, first 12 hours were flate rate, second 12 were double, third 12 were triple...
And i got given a envelope of £50's at the end of the shift to say thanks.
ETA Hourly rate actually stopped at 5xnormal. but i got nearly 35 days pay for it and took a well deserved rest afterward (three weeks).

I used to work as a site engineer, I started one shift on a saturday night and due to a major balls up by the planning team my relief wasn't booked for the next shift on sunday morning. It was a buisy weekend so no cover could be found for the sunday night shift I was booked to work either so I ended up clocking off on monday morning, 32 hours after starting work. I literally fell asleep as soon as I sat down in my van.
