Friend of mine just been made redundant, looking for contract or perm employment based wilts but willing to travel. Will consider further afield eg. Mainland Europe.

Welder with supervisory experience, tig, mig, arc, PTA, amseix coded. Overhead crane licensed, first aider, h&s certificate. Full clean drivers lic.

Newcastle AMEC yard, landed a big contract before xmas, up to 1000 jobs, most in fabrication, so my guess is get in there early, find the agency and get contracting, likely to earn good money in the process

I deal with Welding Engineer's within the Oil and Gas industry mainly for EPC company's like AMEC. I have a few Welding positions on at the moment.
