Trainee IT job interview.

I have just been told today that i have a job interview tomorrow at 4pm for a Trainee IT Systems Analyst.

I know there's quite a few IT folk on here, so was just wondering if people could give me an idea of what to expect at the interview?

I already work at the company but as a waiter, so i think i may have a good footing as i already know the company and some of the systems used, but more of an idea of things to expect would be good.

I know that i'd be getting trained up to Microsoft certification, but not a lot else.

The company is in the leisure/tourism in Scotland, so there's not a lot of things like programming as far as i know. Mainly dealing with networking and communications.

"What aspects do you know about systems analysis?"
"Why do you want to pursue a job as a systems analyst?"

I know it's a trainee job but any interested person will have had a browse at books or relevant websites and know the basic terms. It's like someone professing a desire to get into the futures trading and not having had a dabble with a spreadbetting account (I would find it hard to believe that anyone interested in trading hasn't had a dabble if they are of legal age).

I realised what the basic questions would be, but was mainly wondering if there would be more in depth questions.

Sorry i should have stated that in my original post. I've got a rough idea to what id say in reply to the questions stated, i'm just thinking there could be more detailed questions that would require refreshing my memory of.

Personally I think they'll try to ascertain whether you are much of a logical thinker and a problem solver. If so and you've got a technical side and are willing to learn you could be the on the right lines.
