Discussion
I had little to no success with my CV last year, and havent submitted a CV since late summer. I'm looking to return to it in the next week or so but I'm trying to see where I'm going wrong with my CV. It might be qualifications or experience which I'm lacking, but I thought an innovative CV might actually get me a shoe in the door.
Its laid out like this at present:
Name & Contact details
Profile (boring spiel about being motivated/enthusiastic and seeking a change)
Employment history with bullet points
Education
Interests (very brief)
IT Skills (very brief)
Refs
To the various recruitment agents on here, is it worth looking at something "different"?. By that, I mean retaining the paper/email option but changing style and delivery to make it stand out?
