My last job.
Hadn't done that specific job before (100% direct sales), wasn't trained on the products, didn't get the time with other Sales Managers which I had asked for, wasn't used to working alone from home with no support and the business I thought was up for grabs in my region actually wasn't.
Finished up last Monday after 3 months.

Its Normal isnt it- If you are good, you keep getting promoted, until you cant do the job you are doing!
You're referring to the "everyone gets promoted to their level of incompetence" saying, but the OP was asking who has got there and had to backtrack. I haven't seen too much of that being done voluntarily, but have seen people reverted once it was realised they had indeed been promoted once too many times.
