You could say that you are earning a sufficient salary, which is commensurate with the experience and qualifications that you bring to that role. If they press and ask for a specific number, then either tell them or say that you are not willing to discuss.

I personally do not give that information out at interview, and it hasn't affected my chances yet. When they ask 'what sort of salary are you looking for?' then I will tell them. The two shouldn't be dependent.

I am in HR and conduct frequent interviews. Most credible employers, when asking this question, are judging character and not budget. You can preface your answer by explaining that your present position is part-time and may not reflect the true compensation of a permanent position (or whatever your circumstances are). If you feel you are the right person for the job say so and why. Be confident and direct. You cannot avoid answering this question and if you lie you just lost the job because reference checks will bury you. Good Luck! HTH
