Moving around every 6 months.,

I'll be starting a new job soon, where I have to relocate every 6 months for 3 years.

Does anyone have any experience of this? For instance, getting a flat, broadband, telephone etc., isn't this a problem when most places want you to commit to 12 months, or face penalties?

Anyone got any tips?

I wouldn't bother with broadband or a landline and just use a mobile and a dongle or a mi-fi thingy.
