New E60 M5 owner
Discussion
Well after thinking about getting a m135i for what seems like an eternity, I got behind the wheel of an e60 M5 and was sold from the first stab on the noise peddle.
Picking it up on 10/12/12 in Glasgow
-Black (perfect paint)
-Every option ticked
-New brakes being fitted all round this week
-new rubber on the rear
-42k
-FBMWSH
-AUC Warranty
-M5 Badge delete (thinking maybe a 518D badge??)
-Red 3.5" PH smiley in the post (look out for me, I will be the grinning idiot)
Cheers,
P

Great purchase, you'll be on first name terms with your local petrol station by the end of the month, i'm averaging 14.7mpg apparently
If you don't mind some noise, and the good noise at that you can look into a muffler delete for the car? I've posted some pictures and a small video of how mine sounds like on another thread to get a clipse, IMO it sound like a stock Gallardo but louder, similar tone I think

Page 4 on there bud, and I wouldn't imagine it should do. All your doing is removing the 4 rear silencers and put in a straight pipe onto either side, cost me £200 with the tips and took about 1.5 hours to complete from driving the car onto the ramp to driving it off the ramp
There isn't anything that your removing apart from the silencers, there are no sensors or anything connected to the back of the exhaust, however just to be on the safe side i'd check with warranty company but I'll be genuinly shocked to see them say no to it IMO
