E60 M5 trickle charger
Discussion
Hi all. I have now solved my 'car dilemma' by opting for a beautiful e60 M5 (and loving it).
I now have a boring question: I hope someone has an experience w fitting a trickle charger (neatly and direct to the battery at the boot -not the terminals at front). I used to have the same installed at the maser (http://www.amazon.co.uk/CTEK-CTE-MXS5-0-12V-Battery-Charger/dp/B004ZWV1JI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355230943&sr=8-1) and the techs had nicely fitted everything and left a small socket in the boot for me to plug the car in at the garage.
I have seen a post on how to fit it at the front, but I'd rather fit direct to battery..
Problem now is that I feel bmw are not so keen to have this done -at least not if I provide my just purchased charger.
Any ideas/suggestions of good garages in London welcome.

I've fitted the lead/plug straight to the battery terminals and it has been fine for two years. Connect to the charger in the garage using the specified extension cable, and shut the boot lid down carefully. I leave mine for weeks on end. It did once trip the airbag warning light - but I'm pretty sure that's cos my wife tried driving off with it still plugged in - she flatly denies it to this day
