surely you would know if youve got a warranty on there or not?i cant recommend anyone from the north west but series 9 in nottingham are excellent.

i remember seeing this, Silverstone 2? nice looking, low miles. thats shocking that there is no recourse with Audi though. they are right next too Benham BMW right? funnily enough i brought my 55 plate silverstone 2 M6 from there about a year ago.

NO NO NO NO NO.They are a trader and you are an individual. Sold as seen doesn't work here.

If peace-of-mind is more important than achieving the best possible deal, then buy from a car dealership. A forecourt purchase is likely to be the most expensive used-car buying option, but a buyer has the most consumer rights should something go wrong.
According to The Sale of Goods Act (SGA) 1979 (as amended), a car bought from a dealer must be:
As described
Of satisfactory quality
Fit for purpose
If the vehicle fails on any of these points within a reasonable period after purchase, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or a partial or full refund.
However, a car’s age and mileage must be taken into account before pursuing a claim, which means it’s reasonable to expect a high-mileage banger to be more problematic than a motor with low mileage. However, any car must still be:
Fit for use on the road
In a condition which reflects its age and price
Reasonably reliable
Two more points to note are that a car must be roadworthy when you buy it (unless explicitly agreed that the vehicle is to be sold as scrap), [b]and a car dealer cannot reduce the above legal rights by displaying a ‘sold as seen’ sign.

To add to this, on the day the car arrived, the undertray came loose and needed to be fully replaced. Williams BMW also told me when the car was in for inspection, that the front pads and discs were corroded, and that part of the front steering rack was coming away on the left hand side. If i get a full report from BMW on this, then surely Audi have to act even for a trade sale? The car isn't roadworthy!
One more time, assuming you are an individual............TAKE IT BACK TO AUDI, TELL THEM TO STOP DICKING YOU AROUND AND FIX IT.

Being a trader myself I know you cannot access Autotrade-mail without having a fully vetted account with them. Wolves Audi have sold the car as a trade sale in good faith through Autotrade-mail and have not done anything wrong. I'm sure the OP knows the score and just wants some help in trying to diagnose and fix the issue with the oil pump.
I was in the same position as the OP when searching for an V10 M6 myself. In the end I bought from a main dealer with a year AUC warranty - these cars are not worth owning without a good warranty.
I hope you can get it fixed cheaply and get a Mondial warranty on it pronto!

I am not a trader! A good friend of mine is, and he saw the car advertised on Auto Trade Mail. I then rang Audi as a private customer and asked them if they would invoice the car, direct to me, at the reduced trade price. They agreed with no hestitation and the invoice was raised to me as a private individual.Even with it being a trade sale, the car still has to be roadworthy for a good period of time, and this clearly wasn't the case. Audi claimed the car had gone through an extensive safety check - the day after the undertray was coming away - this was clearly not the case!
