I never realised these were quite so obtainable...

This one is very cheap in comparison to the average milers, and probably needs cosmetic tidying but with a FBMWSH, is it likely to be a bad idea?! If it wasn't so blimin far from me I could pop by to satisfy my curiosity, as it is its the gamble of a wasted day and a tank of fuel!

Wonder if anyone would underwrite a warranty for sensible money?

Hasn't the dealer who's selling that got a really bad reputation?

Get the train up or 'pay' a specialist to pop along and check it out with you on the phone.

I'm sure I couldn't possibly comment; but I'd reccommend some google-fu.

I've no experience, they do always seem to have the cheaper end of the market covered but don't know if thats just because they tend to have the big milers in etc

Dealers need to make money. They are not giving that car away, so even at £13k they are making a turn.

This means it's priced low for a reason. The only thing you can be sure of, is that they won't tell you that reason.

Seriously, it's going to be a bad 'un.

For that money your best bet is to strip and sell for parts rather than buy it to use. Engines fetch over £5k as they are.

Another option is to strip it out and use it at the ring or on track.

Im no M6 expert by far but surely the fact it has 140k on the clock would make it considerably harder to sell the engine for 5k?

The stipping out option seems very tempting though, I can only imagine what an m6 stripped out down to around 1500 kgs would perform like at the ring.

Google the garage selling that, lots of unhappy customers!

Due to it being from "that" dealer and with such high miles it's almost definitely suicide. Spend a couple more grand and get a decent example!

Not with a stolen, double-wrapped stunt cock would I touch that. Especially not from that vendor.

Even if it were brand new at that price, I'd suggest a quick google of the garage in question, or looking for a bargepole.

Never mind the dealer, surely a car £5k below the normal bottom of the market has to be a $hitter?!

I say do it...a 13k m6 with no warranty whatsoever. What could go wrong? Seriously. Do it for us and find out!
