E30 M3 Evo 2 Location?

Hi,

I sold my E30 M3 Evo 2 In Macau Blue, 239/501, Reg F126 WRE way back in 2001 to a guy from the Isle Of Man. I don't suppose anyone has heard of it or seen it since? Just curious. I sold it for just under £5000? DOH!!

Apparently not taxed since 01. But they may have private plate.

Yes, I checked that also. But the car went to the Isle Of Man so my thinking is that it wont show up on the DVLA site.

I'm very gutted! Think it would be worth £20k plus now, maybe more. Not sure I would pay what they're asking for E30 M3's now.

I remember back in 2003 when I bought my e36 m3 from a dealer for 17k another main dealer was selling an e30 m3 sport evo for just under 16k.
I knew at the time it was a special car but didnt predict what they are currently worth.
FWIW I px'd my e36 in 2008 for 6k....

Have you got any document numbers from an old V5? Use that plus a reg on the http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-In... site and that'll tell you where and when its been MOT'd.

My thinking is that after the road tax lapsed 2001 the car is still in the Isle Of Man. So it wont show up in the UK DVLA system? I may have to take a trip to the Isle of Man!!

I hate to think how much money I've lost on cars over the years! I've had over 60 to date. EEKK.
