Guy & Girls, I had my M5 stolen off my drive at 3.00am this morning. Please keep a look out and let me know if you see it.
Only have a link to the company I purchased it from a couple of years back as had to delete Piston Heads advert to stop calls.

Thanks in advance.

That's awful John, these thieving b
ds need to die!
Is it a coincidence that it's up for sale do you think?
Scumbags often organise viewings of such cars, usually by a friend, to gather information and assess the nickability of it.
This is precisely what happened to me a few years back, so I'm now super-cautious in these situations.
Fingers crossed for a good outcome for you.

I had my vehicle advertised and the first viewing was this Sunday.
A potential buyer was scheduled to turn up at 2.00pm. By 4.00pm no-one had arrived. I text him to see if he was commin and he said he was stuck in traffic and would be with me in the hour.
Two Muslim men turned up in their late 20's. I showed them around the car and took them for a test drive. I did not let them drive the car. They them came in to my house and looked at the documentation and took a photo of my V5. They siad they liked the car and would go away do some checks and come back to me. They were with me for approx 40 minutes.
I received a text on Monday saying he would like to do a deal with the car. We spoke over the phone and agreed a price. I said I would need a deposit before it took the car of the market. He said he would sort it out in the next couple of days but was waiting for a loan to clear and someone owed him some money.
At 3.00am this morning I heard four beeps from my car and then heard the engine start. I jumped out of bed to see someone reversing it down my drive scrapping the car along my wall as he did so as I had other vehicles on the drive. I quickly put some clothes on and woke both my sons up. We jumped in two cars and scoured the area but the car was long gone. My wife called the police and they were already at my house when I returned about 30 minutes later.
They did not break any glass and I have both sets of keys.
The police have tried to trace the mobile number but it is no registered to anyone.
They also distributed the registration to surrounding police forces but they did say they would probably change the plates so it would not be picked up by the ANPR system.
I don't know how they got in to the car or how they managed to start the car.
I have since texted the person that called me about the car and he has replied.
My Text - You thieving scumbags
My Second Text- the police have your picture on my home CCTV and I hope they catch you scumbags (I don't have CCTV)
His Reply - Please dnt call or text i find it very rude. I dnt know what ur talking about.
My Reply - Of course you don't. If you didn't know you would be asking what had happened. You will get what you deserve in life.
His Reply - Ur being rude mate if u dnt wana sell the car just say?
May Reply - I tell you what. why don't you come around and we can discuss it.
His Reply - i dnt do buisness with people who do false accqusations.
My Reply - You live on a different planet. Go away . You don't do business at all. Just thieve from hard working people. Low Life.
His Reply - OK
And that is the last I have heard from him. The poor spelling in his replies is not me.

This is very similar to what happened to me in 2008.A potential buyer was scheduled to turn up at 2.00pm. By 4.00pm no-one had arrived. I text him to see if he was commin and he said he was stuck in traffic and would be with me in the hour.

Two young Asian guys expressed interest in my car, came to view it and went on a test drive, with me driving.
I became wary of them during the drive and would not stop during the drive (they tried twice to get me to do that)
The car (it was an R32) was taken at knifepoint by a third party a few days later. I wonder if it was the same two f

This is crap.
I would get hold of someone at BMW GB and see if a replacement key has been ordered for your VIN, and if so, which dealer ordered it.
Have to agree, the copying of the V5 sounds suspect, however dealer should only order with original V5 and corresponding ID, but that doesn't always happen, but worth requesting info on recent key order indeed.I would get hold of someone at BMW GB and see if a replacement key has been ordered for your VIN, and if so, which dealer ordered it.
2 questions.
Why is it important to note that it was 2 Muslims in your story?
You are that confident it was these indivuals that stole your car your first text is you thieving scumbags? The text messages you have sent are pretty gross.
The theft does sound very disturbing though, actually seeing somebody driving away in your car, that's f
king grim.
