Hello all,

New to the forum, had a few M cars. Z3m was my first but turned out to be a lemon. So bought am E46 M3 convertible, lovely car but cost too much to run so downsized to a Clio182.

Picked up this 18Months ago to potter around in and ended up ploughing cash into it. Its ruining me but I love it for some reason.

Anyway, was like this:

Spent lots of cash and worked hard to get it like this:

Still got a while to go, headlights will be fitted shortly amongst other upkeeps and repairs.

Sorry if this is the wrong section but thought I would say hi!

Thanks, I did that as soon as I bought it. I had to remove some other tat including some cheap lowering springs, blue led's inside. Was god awful.

Its pretty much standard now, I have "improved" things here and there (E46 M3 seats, xenons, powerflex bushes here and there, Simota) But it is largely standard.

Want to get some roll bars and do a few more stiffening bits, but she is mostly standard and de chavved.

Nice work but I cannot stop looking at your passenger door alignment! That would drive me mad!

Top work though on de chavving a lovely looking car!

Great work, how much for the respray and was it with glass in or out? Looks really good!

Re the door, having spent all Sunday trying to adjust a classic mini door that had a 5mm gap to the inner seal you can understand my eye for that pic! BTW never try to adjust a mini door it is impossible, in the end brute force and I bent the upper frame to align! Bloody doors!

I can imagine. Body shop mentioned it was a tad diddly to get right.

It was a glass in respray. Shuts etc and tops of wings done but engine bay and boot floor aren't. It was £2400 all in. It including a spot of rust removal and undersealing too. I will look to eventually get the boot floor and engine bay done in GM splash guard finish

In all honesty I think I preferred it in black, but props to what you have done!

That's some commitment, and I think it's paid off smile maybe get some nice photos with the sun shining off the red, that would look just spanking.
