M5 or M3 offers
Discussion
I think most people pushed hard for deals in the Q1 offer schemes, so not as many buyers left, so perhaps that's a good thing for pushing more from our perspective. I know what you mean about local dealers, it also appears Eastern cleaned up off recommendations from here which perhaps meant they could afford to discount heavily as they were easily shifting volume AND could maintain a decent level of service from what's been said on here whereas local dealers (who most likely have rubbish service anyway) can't come close. Out of interest which model did you enquire about at your local dealer and what kind of discounts were they offering?
48 Month Personal Contract Purchase at 0%APR.
£3700 deposit.
8000 miles per annum.
Cost per month £595.55
GMFV £23,647.01
List is somewhere in the 64k region for the spec I'm going for.
48 x 595.55 = £28586.40
+ £3700
+ £23647.01
Total = £55933.41
so £8k discount and 4 yrs 0% from Eastern.....so the deals are still there. Unofficially, last orders around mid June.

This website aggregates most of the UK deals on all cars.

Presume you're talking about the M3 there. That's a good deal. Got a fairly good deal from Easterm today but they only have convertibles left.
I'm more interested in the M5 but there appear better offers on the M3.
The stealer was just offering the standard PCP on the BMW website. That doesn't seem a good deal. They want a £13.5k deposit and a GFV of basically £30k while the monthlies are the same as leasing. Thus you're paying £10k more to have the chance of owning a car and would need to clear over 44k after 3 years to see any of the deposit back. Seems expensive.

Don't quite understand them saying they only have convertibles left...????
BMW website still has the 0% + dealer discount offer on coupes. I know there's a special edition conv offer on at the moment but at no time have they said to me that there's no coupes left. My best information(as recent as 2 weeks ago) is that last orders would be about mid June, but better ordering before end of May to guarantee a build slot before the factory tooling changes for the 4 series.
I might pop in tomorrow and see what the story is because I'm meant to be ordering my coupe in 3 weeks time....already got my quote in writing....would be severely pi$$ed off if they now say it's a no-go.

I presume different dealers have access to different stock/build places. Eastern said they are now out of coupes but have build places for the convertible. They expect these to go by the end of the week. Got to say service from Eastern had been good and their price (widely quoted on here and still current at 6+23 at £385 + VAT) is keen if you like the 'vert.
I'm really holding out for a good M5 deal.

Just spoken to Eastern BMW and they have (allegedly) checked the stock and build availability (inc. cancellations) and there are no coupes of any variety available before the end of June when they re-tool for the new 2015 M3. There are a couple of the convertibles still available....

Strange....just had an email reply this morning from Eastern. I told them I intended coming in in 2 weeks after my next work trip offshore to discuss the deal we had spoken about....no problems...no suggestions that there wasn't a coupe build slot. I might pop in and have a chat this afternoon. really need clarification on this.My understanding from my conversations and emails is that they have stopped making M3's of all varieties. They then made/are making a last batch of limited editions models (500 coupes and 500 convertibles) for the UK market which come in a higher spec and in blue, red or white. When they're gone, they're gone.
But maybe I'm wrong...don't shoot the messenger.
