delivery mileage E30 M3 as new
Discussion
I should think this is as good as it gets if you want the perfect M3, just look at the engine bay

only trouble is what would you do with it?
surely you couldn't drive it and put miles on it!!
worth loads until you use it, fairly pointless owning it then?
what would you do?

Nice to see at least one in outstanding condition. These are important cars and important that a couple are kept for future generations to appreciate.
Not sure how they will appreciate a static object. I would much rather see cars used. I was out yesterday and got lots of smiles and waves to which I responded with some noise. That is appreciation.Hope this does not end up on the other side of the world in some bloody investor's collection

According to their website it's sold. http://www.thehairpincompany.co.uk/car_sold.html

It's a shame to see a car like that become a static investment.
Thing is as an investment it's really not been that great. What were these new £40k or £45k ? If it's been sold for £100k that's about 4% return a year...before insuring it and keeping it somewhere rather more expensive than your average garage and presumably it's needed some maintenance to keep all the things that can perish in perfect condition. If you'd bought seven or eight years ago and enjoyed it every weekend it would have been a better investment!
