Can anyone out there give some advice please;

After 24000 miles Ive got minor scuffs on 3 out of the 4 alloy wheels frown. They are the optional upgrade 20 inch ones.

I seem to remember when buying the car the dealer said something about them being diamond cut and can only be refurbished once, if so Im probably better off just leaving it at the moment until just before I sell her on.

Can anyone advise if this info is likely to be correct? Also what am I looking at for getting one of these alloys refurbished, asked dealer and they said they would need to send rims on to a third part refurbisher for a quote which would also mean car was out of action for a few days which isnt great as its my daily drive. Would you advise I get this sorted out via dealer still or go straight to any third party out of the yellow pages. Unfortunately I didnt take out the dealers alloy wheel cover.

Thanks for any advice.

I use Spit and Polish. The results are as new. Not the cheapest, but the best.

Not sure about the "once only refurb part" but I use Pristine Wheels in Woburn Sands, Bucks. They are very good and have used them many times including BMW diamond cut rims.

You can send the wheels to them in the post or I think they offer a loan set if you speak to them, hope this helps!
