I have deleted my initial message from this topic by mistake!

Was asking if there were any alternative suppliers for BMW glass and got some very helpful replies below!

My M3 wing mirror glass did the same & discoloured & I got quoted £302 from Beemer but I just got one off eBay instead, it's incredible how much they cost from the dealer.

A thought on why the glass is SO costly to purchase....

They have/are;
1. Heated
2. Auto-Dimming
3. Variably Convex

Perhaps it's the auto-dim facility that increases cost?

have you tried online with the "wing mirror man"? have dealt with them in the past and found them very good.

Yes. Non-dimming convex mirror glass for my Z4M is about 88 quid from the dealer. Dimming is nearer £300.
