Pagid Blue Pads Disintegrated

Just had Pagid Blue pads fitted to the rear of my M3 Evo and after bedding them in for 3 days I've just been down to Goodwood and after 3 hard sessions they have totally disintegrated and we are scooping out piles of powder and bits of pad!

Never had these pads before but a couple of other e36 M3 owners were there and before telling them what I was running they both said "bet they were Pagid Blues"

I wondered has anyone else had this issue?

I've done 50 plus track days in various cars and this is the 4th in this m3 an never seen anything like this before.

Disks are knackered as well now so keen to see what is suggested for disks and pads without upgrading to a BBK as I have one on front and stopping up until today has been fine.

Apparently the previous pads that were in it were Pagids but must have been different compound.

Any advice appreciated.

I have no experience of Pagid blue, but do use Pagid RS29 on the front of my e36 328 track day car & they have been excellent.

On the rear I use either Mintex 1144 or Ferodo DS2500 with good results, however these are no good on the front as they will disappear in 1 full trackday.

I'm using Carbotech XP8 pads on my M5, similar to Pagid, lots of Mitsubishi Evo owners use the Carbotech's. Have a look on Carbotech website.

Yes, I had something similar, albeit not on my BMW. The photo below is of my Pagid Blues (RS 4-2 compound) after half a dozen or so laps of the Nurburgring during TF:

Even though those didn't last long I stuck with Pagid and tried their RS29 (yellow) pad on recommendation and have found them to be excellent. Have had no similar problems with them since and have now fitted them to all of my cars that I use on track.

I would recommend the EBC bluestuffs. I had them on my E39 M5 on the ring and they were perfect. I take them off for daily driving though.
