Well, after much deliberation, today was the day that I placed my order on an M135i!

Delivery estimate is 3rd September.

Really pleased that I managed to get the dealership to knock the price down by £5,500.

I don't think realisation has really kicked in yet.

Nice one! These cars seem to make so much sense, especially the 5 door for the practicality. I take it, with discount and options, the price ended up around 30k?

Not a bad wait time. Did the sales people mention if they had sold many? Would be interesting to see if the large petrol engine puts people off even though fuel consumption is pretty decent.

I didn't ask actually. When I speak to them next week, I'll ask.

The car actually came in under £30k but with service package, etc it went to just over.

Well chuffed with the package I got in the end.
It paid to be in conversation with two dealers. In the end, the dealer that gave me the most confidence also had the best offer so it couldn't have worked out better.

No heated seats? Leather is cold in the winter.
Rain Sensor? A must on any new car , IMHO!

I was really surprised at how short the build schedule is. I know a couple of people who've had to wait a lot longer for their cars...

Forgot to say I have leather seats in my current car. They're not heated so I'm sure I'll manage

Excellent choice. I ordered mine a few weeks back, should be here for 1st week in September.

Mine is:

Alpine White, Sport Auto, Professional Media and Harmon Kardon. I too got just under £5k knocked off the price, but got the service package included in that.
