Hi all,

Thought I would post this on the M forum as the topic is a little more specialist with the car in question - please point me back to the BMW main forum if there is little knowledge of this car on here!

Have recently aqquired a 2005 X5 4.8is Le Mans edition. A standard feature on this car was the adjustable ride height suspension which has 3 settings - one to lower the car, one to raise the car and a 'middle ground' setting. This however doesn't seem to work, but I have read that if there is an underlying issue with the suspension then a warning symbol will appear on the dash - 'Air suspension inactive' or something along those lines - there is no such warning. Now the control panel does illuminate, and if I try and lower the car for example, the green light flashes as if the car is about to lower, but absolutely no movement up or down from the suspension. This has been tried with the car in park position.

Anyone had any such issues? I have also read that the control panel can become faulty on these models which I hope is the case.

Apologies if I haven't explained myself correctly.

Cheers,

Oli
