Hi, first post from me, I wanted to know can I just call bmw and ask them about the service history of the car, apparently the car I'm looking at has lost its service book, or does someone on here have the information?
It's a 2005 m3 reg'

Pl05 UJD

Hopefully will buy it tomorrow if all checks out

Many thanks

Good Evening,
I had my service book fully stamped on my m3, but did not have all the invoices, I called the supplying dealer, who asked me to send my service book into them, they returned the book with copies of every invoice relating to the car. They also confimred over the phone that the dates in the service book matched the records on there system. I believe that they will also confirm this information from the reg and vin number
hope this helps smile

BMWUK are great at this. Give them a call and they will be helpful, dates and locations etc. For the specifics of the work done you may need to give individuals dealers a call they list.

What he/she said.

Call main BMWUK and give them chassis number,
they will then check the dealerships that the car's been to (for services and repairs)
and you'll have to call each individual dealership to confirm how many services/repairs were done.

Ask for new service history book from the first dealer the car had the service (running in service) and ask them to stamp and send it to another dealership. Call the other dealerships and tell them what to do once they receive the book.

Excellent thanks, just looked there only open Monday until Friday.

Don't know if in going to view this car still, I might hold out for lower mileage one.

Cheers for your help.

Purchased the m3, it had a service book but it was only a copy as it's with bmw Cardiff as they forgot to stamp it

So all seems good the car is nice too
