HUD like it now.

Auto high beam thing is amazing and really works well. Only had one flash from another driver, but used to get that anyway in my previous F10 even when noton high beam.

Race settings are extreme but big fun. Like my go kart!

Just started to really push it and really amazed how much fun it is to drive. Couldn't stop laughing.

Noise isn't too tame for me. On full song it sounds amazing

The 20 inch wheels are stunning

Silver and red interior perfect

It does go sideways!

I've got a 300 mile round trip to Birmingham Thursday. Haven't had a service warning yet... Should I? Can I redline it now?

That's good going! (How many miles PA is your agreement?)

I've got 850 in 10 days and my service next Wednesday when it'll have circa 1000 on the clock.

I'm told 900 is the minimum and 1800 the maximum of the 1200 mile service.

Currently averaging 20mpg in mixed driving which I'm very happy with yes

Thanks Hohoho ... will book it in.

On the run from Cheshire to Devon I averaged 24 mpg, that was mainly motorway driving of course.

My agreement is 20K miles a year but this has been an unusual week (but highly enjoyable motoring!)

It depends on driving style etc. albeit 1200 is the recommended mileage.

I have 900 now and it's saying 400 miles to my service. In reality I'll have about 1100 so in line with the policy.

Bear in mind that if its forgotten or very late you may well void the warranty, and in the past m cars that have missed the service are almost impossible to sell on!

The service interval is just governed by the amount of fuel you use. They set the amount based on what they consider average fuel consumption. If you use less fuel you go longer between services, use more and the interval comes down. Mine reached service due at 1300 miles and was done at 1360.

What I find amazing is the variation in service interval after running in by region. I've amassed pretty much the entire set of production details on all the M6 Gran Coupes made to date and found the following service options

S8KAA Oil serv. interval 30,000 km/24 months
S8KCA Oil serv. interval 24,000 km/24 months
S8KEA Oil serv. interval 12,000 km/24 months
S8KKA Oil serv. interval 15,000 km/18 months
S8KLA Oil serv. interval 15,000 km/12 months
S8KMA Oil serv. interval 12,000 km/12 months
S8KPA Oil serv. interval 8,000 km/12 months

In the UK we are right at the top of the range, the USA were at 24K/24 months when production started, then suddenly half way through 27 June 2013 they changed to 12K/12 months.

IMO it would be prudent to say the least to change the oil at a maximum of half the interval on the service indicator.

Unless you're leasing in which case it gets serviced when it tells you to!
