Winter Tyres for E92 M3
Discussion
Hi Ross I did for the winter season last year on my last M3. They were perfect! Hankook ICept Evo's. Looked a bit naff on 18'm rims but perfect in cold conditions with a slightly increased tyre pressure. That said they go off when the Tarmac warms up in late winter so lasted me from Oct to late Feb. Plus meant I could refurb, seal and protect the old wheels in time for summer :-)
My wheels are 18" and coming fitted with Michelin Alpin tyres. I've never had winter tyres before so will be interesting!
I'm guessing they are these http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-pilot-alp...
Same size all round 245 I think.

I run Michelin Alpin PA4's 20" /35/255 front 275/35/20 rears, they are great on my LCI M5.I'm guessing they are these http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/michelin-pilot-alp...

They are 235s all round. Very good for the winter and loosing 30 cm from the rears makes for fun in the snow.
If you lost 30cm it would be very interesting - I think you mean 3cm
