...it's not an 'M' car, so I'm confused!

Genuine question though - does it have anything special about it that a 3-series 335iMsport does not (apart from laughable rear passenger space)? smile

What are you on about??

Sure of course it's an "M-Car", it says so on the label ...... "M"135i.

It's more or less the new M1, and is pretty much the quickest BMW anybody can currently buy at the minute.

Can't wait to go M3/M5 hunting in mine when I pick it up (£250/month lease)

Christ on a tricycle... I have owned a number of M cars, isn't this forum titled M Power, if BMW see fit to give the stonkingly good 1M an 'M' moniker and it has pretty much the same engine as the latest incarnation of the M3 and immensely capable chassis then I cant see the problem. How anal do you have to be to object to discussions appearing here? By endlessly complaining and starting a new thread, do you not just prolong the agony for those poor sensitive 'M' owners?

Give it a rest...

Not really, just more power and less weight, costs less too.

Obviously the numpties who continuously post these idiotic things either can't read or lead a sad existence.

If you have any self-respect please refrain from jumping on the band wagon yet again...

Just enough for a 5 days worth of luggage and food at Center Parcs 120 miles away with 3 kids in the back (17, 15 and 7 year old inc booster seat); wasn't much room left in ANY nook or cranny to be fair, but it's feasible (just) thumbup

Course it is. It's the M divisions version of the one series. I can't wait to get mine and become a fully paid up member of the "M-club"
