As per the thread title, what's the best price people have obtained?

My dealer told me around the £500 mark, so this thread is very useful.

Also good to know how long the service takes

Cheers

What is it they do to them these days, is it still engine oil, gearbox oil and diff oil?

I don't know why BMW don't just stick the 300 odd quid onto the price of the car and do the service 'free'. That's what they used to do.

Paid £370 at BMW Maidstone. They picked the car up and dropped it off later the same day.

Ho Ho Ho,

I have just booked mine it at Vines of Guildford and they are quoting £350. I said that someone had paid £320 at Vines of Crawley. They said they would match it if it shows on their records. Was yours £320?

Cheers

It was and part of my original deal so they may well have looked after me.

Speak to Sam in service and mention me (Martin B, Silverstone M5) and see if he'll drop the cost.

£299.98 Specialist Cars of Tring

After a crazy high quote first, then I complained, and got a quote from a dealer in Oxford. They then quoted me £320, then when I finally paid after the service they handed me a bill under the £300 mark.

£301 at Sytner High Wycombe - was the quoted amount last year - no haggling needed.

Does anyone know why the 5 year service pack doesn't include the 1200 mile service? At least that is what my local dealer is telling me.

Hmm. I'll call them and check again. In which case it's quite likely total servicing costs will be around the same as a service plan (assuming this includes the 1200 mile) over a 20,000 mile lease period.
