I have just tried to go for a drive in the f10 M5 I have had for a month. It is the first time I went to drive just for the sake of it since getting the car. It was a complete waste of time and petrol- too many other cars to do anything other than crawl along. In addition to this, the sat nav sent me over Marlow bridge in Buckinghamshire- big mistake.

It seems the car is too wide to get through the bollards/crossing point at either end of the bridge so I ended up curbing one of the front alloys. I have the 20" black alloys and it has scraped some of the black off on the rim and made a (not very deep) scuff. Does any one have an advice on getting this repaired. I am more concerned about the black missing than repairing the scuffed metal itself.

Your local BMW garage may do small marks. Mine charges approx £75. Where the work is too large they send them away. Came back like new.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try BMW first as I just want it touching up with black rather than any repair to the metal.
