Hello,
I have an M3 CS that is a summer car. I've just been quoted £1,080 to insure it for 2k miles per year yikes - apparently this is because I can't apply my no claims discount to it as that's on my daily. I've been quoted £270 if it was my daily!!!

Can anyone recommend an insurance broker who might give me a good deal on fully comp but very limited mileage?

I'm an old fart (40) with muchos no claims bonus, zero points and a no fault claim a few years ago...

Thanks in advance.

When I was with Admiral they were willing to give me 5 years NCB on my second car. I suspect a few insurance companies will be willing to do something similar.

I have a 2002 M3, I run it on classic insurance, about £200 a year for 3000 miles. Have to have a daily car though. RH specialists insurance are the people to contact.

When I was with swiftcover they applied my full NCB to both my cars. Just needed a quick call - not widely advertised.

I think quite a few of them do this, worth phoning around.

I just insured the M5 (E34) as a second car. No NCD on it and with an SP50 £160.

Good god man, are you 70 years old and best mates with the CEO of an insurance company? Pray tell where did you find such a wonderful price?

Did a google for classic insurance on a compare site, and it came up with Perfomance Direct.
