My brother sent me this pic last night...

He was following this up the A287 from Midhurst to Haslemere....

He said it had controls in the caged seat on top that looked like it could be driven from up there....

keep your eyes out for a blue m3 in a tv series/ movie soon. They use these kind of cars so the actors can look like they're driving while there is a stunt driver on top of it ragging it around and doing all the driving.

They used similar set ups in the last Bond movie when the now new money penny was driving the land rover and also in safe house when Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington were fighting in that merc.

God, I wouldn't want to be stuck in a seat bolted to the top of a Land Rover Defender going at full tilt! Think 'soft baked bean glued to the top of a rolling cannonball' - not a comfy place to be, roll cage or not!

How that is being transported around on an open transporter is beyond belief! If they're going to that extent to modify the car (and they've have BMW give them an unreleased car) it will obviously be playing quite a key part in the film. You'd want to keep that unleaked!

Aren't BMW making more of those Driving films like they did a decade ago with Clive Owen?

Bit of a thread resurrection... any one got any idea what this was for? have their been any adverts/films which this could have been for?
