Manual gearbox on F80 M3

Having driven an M3 in DCT flavour, I'm seriously contemplating a manual as currently drive an S4 with it.

Anybody driven the manual yet ? I'll save £2900, 40kgs and it will be rare but will I be stuffed come resale ?

I think there is someone over on M3cutters that has got a new M3 with the manual and he has been saying great things about it, my old V8 M3 was a manual and I wouldn't hesitate in buying the new one with a manual as I just enjoy the extra interaction and the put the foot down hang on and flick a paddle doesn't float my boat very much.

The DCT will be more sort after as its very fashionable nowadays to have that gearbox.

Be interested to hear what its like when you get a shot in one. I'm not expecting to see a demo car in manual anywhere.

Hopefully it will be a bit better than the E92 M3 manual box which I always found so-so, too long of throw and ponderous, compared to say
the box on a last gen boxster or 911.

I spoke to one dealer and there is not one manual demo in the country !

The Yanks love the new box on m3post.
