You must have been driving like a nanny or short shifting tongue out

I spanked a new 330d or 335d (smart looking thing I thought it was an M4 at first). Upto 80mph it was up my jacksie....beyond that.....VTEC yo.....he became a dot. Very quickly.

Power is power at the end of the day. Top end, our V10s leave these new turbocharged cars behind (except the V8 TTs)

E60 m5 being kept up with by sub 200bhp standard 3 series? No chance.

Something fishy there.

F30 323i? I presume you mean the 328i.

Indeed. Surely it's a 328i with about 240bhp?

What "new M cars"? 330d / 335d are not new M cars and new M3/4/5/6 will not get left behind by an E60 M5.

OP, there is no such thing as an F30 323i.

Like it very much.

My 550i is badged 520d and M3 badged 316i. There was a guy uttering the words "should have bought an M3" when he walked past recently.

That's about right, real world F30 6 cylinder diesels are rapid.
