As above, I've been searching for a while (struggling to get user approved on M5board over many months - seem the mods do not check new registers of late). Any recommendations? Want to look out for common faults, economical first time right fixes, and strange behaviours... For example my oil sensor is refusing to read. I've seen it try once in the last 2k and by the way its displaying I don't think its the sensor. Maybe a G sensor offset or other error preventing it calculating

Shouldn't be that much hassle to get approved on m5board.

I've been trying to get approved for a while now too.

Maybe Gustav is too busy driving a Koenigsegg on that empty air field he has? biggrin

Any question I have I just type it into Google and it links me to m5board. The guys are very knowledgeable too (mainly from USA) and plenty of pictures etc too.

PS: I have an E63 M6, what is the technical advise you were after? After all my headaches and lovefest moments with my car, I'd say I am pretty much clued up as anyone else on the S85 V10 models.

It was a manually done process in the past before Gustav sold the board to AutoGuide/Vertical Scope. The Admins (AG employees) processed the queue for a bit and seem to have found it too cumbersome. They placed an automated system which apparently doesn't work, or works randomly.

AG posed to the mods last week that we take up the queue, but seeing as how they are paid and we are not, we declined...it was part of the terms of sale.

List your signup names here and I'll poke them.

Hi Jim

Mine is Schermerhorn, as it spelt on here.

I've followed you on the M5board for a while now, so you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when you also started posting on here too biggrin

Appreciate the kind words, I hate to see these cars getting the reputation they have when it's usually a result of poor diagnosis. I figured I'd pop in here from time to time and try to help out.

Anyone else? I'll poke the Admins...

On a side note, anything that's a must-see in London according to locals? I'm here with wife and kids for a couple of more days.

Harrods

Park Lane

And all the usual tourist spots. If you are with the wife, you gotta put her needs first, my wife usually gets her way over mine! biggrin

Winter wonderland! I don't even have any kids and have been there 3 times this year already biggrin

Whatever you do, don't attempt to see the NYE fireworks...
