Just wondering what discounts people are getting when buying a new M5?
Ideally I'd like to be in a new M3 but with limited discounts and 0% on the M5, the M5 is a very attractive option
Appreciate not everyone might want to post the deal they have achieved in a public forum but I'm keen to pull the trigger on one of these so interested to know what sort of discount I should be aiming for. From initial conversations it appears £8k is the norm with £12.5k being achievable if you push hard
I'm happy to travel anywhere in the UK for the best deal!
Thanks in advance!

M5 cheaper monthly payments than the M3 on a like for like basis with that dealer.Suspect more to come as well for the serious buyer.

Thanks for the replies. Most dealers will do c£9k and a few will do more such as the 12.5k from Peter Vardy
Ideally I'd like £15k off but I think it might be a tall order!!
I'll keep beavering away!!!
I think £15k + 0% should be achievable with Peter Vardy. I would call them and state that for deal X you will put down a deposit on the phone.Ideally I'd like £15k off but I think it might be a tall order!!

If you know anyone who works for Inchcape they are offering M5's on lease for friends and family for £550/mnth including vat and NO(!) deposit!
If would order one through my mate but my current M5 lease is not up for another year! Although running 2 would be interesting.......
I have a friend at a Stratstone dealership who I bought my last one off and will buy my next one off, he has access to the leasing deals but can't supply to friends or family. If would order one through my mate but my current M5 lease is not up for another year! Also if he chooses to leave, the car has got to go back.

I wouldn't get into a pcp on an M5 for 2 years. You will take the full force of some pretty big depreciation and may well (will) be in negative equity, so you will have to pay your way out. This 0% pcp is only a good deal if you plan to keep the car full term.
Thanks, I expected that would be the answer.May take a look at approved used. Better bet in my scenario I reckon.

Haha.... It is important, as there isn't a lot more discount you can get... I would be surprised if anyone get 16k off, unless it's end of qtr and the car is sat in stock.
I did and it wasn't the end of the quarter, or even the end of the month. The car had already been bought by the group and was on its way to the UK. It just happened to meet my spec almost exactly. I think the dealership lost money on the deal but made more money on some kind of bonus from BMW which was paid in the form of a 320d for them to sell. That's how it was explained to me, briefly, by the salesman. So, yes, probably a very specific set of circumstances but £16k off was what I got.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
