Hi everyone

After a 4 year hiatus from having a fun car (the last thing I had was an Exige) I'm off to collect a 2008 E90 M3 tomorrow from BMW Reading.

Very, very excited after enduring situations such as this at the Nurburgring over the last few years:

Off to Brands Hatch on the 30th to cook the standard brakes. Anyone else around?

good effort! - i have got same - did brands twice end of last year in another car - it was slippy - it will be an exercise for you in self-restraint if it is still cold in the morning. Be interested to see how your brakes hold up - never used mine on track but its no featherweight and occasionally get brakes pretty hot on a spirited long drive. they had some people doing the m3 experience with the instructors on lunch break - can only assume traction control was off with instructors - angles achieved made for good spectating! let us know how you get on
